About
HR Expertise With a Human Core
Andrade Leadership Collective was built on a simple belief: that people develop best when they feel understood, not evaluated.
Our story
Built From Experience, Driven by Purpose
After years working in HR leadership roles across the nonprofit and public sectors, it became clear that small nonprofits were consistently underserved. They faced the same people challenges as larger organizations — leadership gaps, retention struggles, benefits complexity — but without the internal HR infrastructure to address them.
Andrade Leadership Collective was founded to close that gap. We bring enterprise-level HR expertise directly to mission-driven organizations that need it most, delivered in a way that respects their culture, their constraints, and their people.
Our work is grounded in the belief that sustainable organizational change starts with individual development — and that development only happens when people feel genuinely met where they are.

The Ruler approach
Why We Lead With Communication
"Real development doesn't happen when people are pushed. It happens when they're understood."
The Ruler approach — Recognizing, Understanding, Labeling, Expressing, and Regulating emotions — is the foundation of how we work with leaders. It's not a framework we apply to clients. It's how we show up in every conversation.
When leaders feel emotionally understood, they become more open to honest reflection, more willing to take risks, and more capable of developing the people around them. That's the environment we create — and the results follow.
This approach shapes everything from our coaching sessions to our HR strategy engagements. We don't arrive with predetermined answers. We arrive with good questions, genuine curiosity, and the expertise to build something real from what we learn.

What guides us
Meet people where they are
We start every engagement by understanding your current reality — not where we think you should be.
Develop, don't push
Sustainable growth comes from building capacity, not applying pressure. We create conditions for people to grow.
Strategy grounded in people
The best HR strategy is one that your team can actually execute. We build for your reality, not a textbook.
Mission alignment
We understand that nonprofits operate differently. Your mission is the lens through which we evaluate every recommendation.
Let's Work Together
If you're leading a small nonprofit and feel like your people systems haven't kept pace with your mission, we'd love to talk.
